Did you know the first “bike”, the so-called ‘dandy horse‘, was invented 200 years ago?
According to the National Travel Survey 2005 by the Department for Transport, 69% of our trips are 5 miles or less, but more than half of those (55%) are made by car.
TTM are working get more people on their bikes in and around Marlow.

Marlow – High Wycombe cycle route

A group of keen cyclists are exploring options for a cyclist-friendly route between Marlow and High Wycombe, using the M40 tunnel at Cressex. We have some ideas about what might work from a cyclist’s viewpoint and the next steps are to share these ideas with key people.

Marlow – Dorney Lake route

Saddle Safari have devised a family friendly 10 mile route from Marlow to Dorney Lake, the majority of the distance being traffic free. Details can be found on this flyer, on JustGoRide (incl. GPX file) or on the Saddle Safari website (which also lists many more routes).
