We are in the process of transferring projects and information over from Marlow Energy Group.

Marlow Energy aims to address the Climate Emergency by assisting Marlow to become a net-zero town. We will enable the local community to confidently invest their effort and money to reduce energy consumption and use low carbon technologies.

We are a charity with a mission to encourage our lovely town to become a carbon-neutral community. We do not sell low-carbon technologies or profit from them. But we seek to understand them, in some cases use them ourselves and can help our neighbours understand which may be helpful to them.

What Marlow Energy does

  • Bring like-minded people in our community together, to the benefit of the whole community.
  • Aims to reduce our community climate change impact by education, and promotion of energy saving technologies, low carbon technologies and community energy.
  • With our thermal imaging camera, we can survey your house so you can see where you might want more insulation to keep you warm, reduce your bills and your carbon footprint.
  • Educate ourselves and the community on smart heating controls, insulation, draft exclusion, solar energy systems, energy storage, heat pumps, electric transport and low energy heating and lighting.
  • Organise “Ask the Expert Talks” and video presentations to improve understanding and benefits of low carbon technologies
  • Organise the Smart Energy Show where you can learn more about solar heating, heat pumps, insulation, electric cars and bikes
  • Work with schools to help the next generation to understand these technologies and the opportunities they provide.
  • Identify and signpost useful sources of energy help and advice.
